SPSS-Statistical Program for Social Science
SPSS is a 37 year old tool. There are around 1000 number of users using this new developed tool. Some of the different users are Government, Academic institutions, Non-Profit Organisation and most importantly the Private institutions.
Some of the advantages of this tool are as follows:-
(i)it works with existing applications used by organisations, therefore there is no need to change the applications.
(ii)SPSS tool is very cheap
(iii)it does not take long time to implement in your running businesses.
Some of the very basic terms are cross tabulation and frequencies and many more. They are used in analyzing the raw data to some actual facts so that some decisions and conclusions can be drawn. Cross tabulation is a two table data which are inter-related whereas frequency tells about the number of occurences of each event.
